Shuka Kalantari is a health and culture reporter living in the Bay Area. She received a Masters degree in multimedia health and medicine journalism from the City University of New York Graduate School of Journalism in Manhattan and is currently a radio and web producer for KPFA Radio's Voices of the Middle East and North Africa in Berkeley, California. She has written for Common Ground Magazine, Time Inc.’s Health.com, Chelsea Now and the former San Francisco Downtown Magazine. Shuka has also completed editorial and web production internships at WNYC radio in New York City and KQED radio in San Francisco.
